motif detection analysis

Hi I have collected a list of informative genes. I want to do motif detection. What input has to give for FANMOD software??

FANMOD is for detecting network motifs, I guess you would like to detect sequence motifs. You better use MEME suite in which case just give it the DNA/protein sequence of you genes/promoters (depending on your interest).
