A rare opportunity to work in the NHS as a bioinformatician. I am taking over the Lead of Bioinformatics at Sheffield Children's Hospital genetics diagnostics service in June and I am recruiting a bioinformatician to join the team. Clinical Bioinformatician

The role would suit someone more junior, maybe fresh from PhD, or early in their post-doctoral career. There is scope to get involved in many projects at the Hospital and in the bioinf community in Sheffield. I am hoping to re-develop the pipeline there and bring it into line with recognized best practices and standards while maintaining a robust and flexible clinical service.

The post would be permanent.
