Clinical Genome Informatics- Postdoc/Data Scientist position at Nationwide Children's Hospital, OH, USA

A recent PhD is invited to join the department of "Research Information Solutions and Innovation" at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The postdoc will be supported by a large IT team of more than 70 people. Mentored by Dr. Simon Lin, the postdoc will have access to a collaborative team with expertise in medical informatics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, statistical genetics, software engineering, and human-computer interactions.

The postdoc will be involved in a portfolio of large, institutional informatics projects for clinical genomics, including transforming the award-winning variant analysis prototype into a clinical application of a clinical genome-dashboard.

Depending on satisfactory progress, the position can lead to a permanent hire as a data scientist.

Required: experience in analyzing human genome variants, skills in manuscript preparation, multitasking
