Grade 6: £28,660 - £32,236 per annum, pro rata for 20 hours per week

This post is part time (20 hours per week) and has funding until 31 March 2020.**

The MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research (CVR) (http://www.cvr.ac.uk/) is seeking to appoint a Research Database Curator to join our growing Bioinformatics team at the CVR. The role will principally focus on the maintenance and modification of a database resource for the research outputs from a HCV research clinical network called HCV Research UK (www.hcvresearchuk.org).

The post would particularly suit an individual looking to acquire experience in software design, to gain skills with a wide range of software technologies and to gain experience in software project management in an academic research environment. Candidates with a background in computer science, software engineering or bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.
