Extraction of total length through xsl style sheet

Hello all,

I want the total length of a sequence of genome from given input file in genbank file format through script. It would be much helpful if it is in xsl style sheet.

Thank you genomax2, but i tried this code(the above mentioned) which Pierre Lindenbaum had answered for a related query, even before posting this question. As am very new to XSL am not able to get my desired result for the Pierre's answer. So what i want is the total length of the genome from given input file in genbank file format through script.

P.S., it would help me a lot if the script is in xsl style sheet as am stuck, half way through the script. Thank you@genomax2,@Pierre Lindenbaum.
