Interesting New problems?
I am a Computer Science PhD student from US working on RNASeq. I spent good amount of time doing literature review and using the major softwares to go through the RNASeq workflow. Now, I am looking for some interesting computational problems- which can be transformed into a big project. I looked into single-cell RNA sequencing, Time course RNA Seq also. But, I am looking for some problems which are biologically interesting (computationally extensive though) but not yet done by any software yet. Or what are some big problems which are not considered well in different softwares?

We believe that this post does not fit the main topic of this site.
There are a gazillion of similar posts already here, it generally doesn't work like that on Biostars, you can google other posts and find if the OP's where lucky getting any valid idea ever that way. QA sites are good for answering questions, not for generating them.
Also I propose to generally proceed with 'new idea's' questions that way. I would like to stress that I really would love to have it work that way (as John pointed out previously 'don't want to take up the discussion with your supervisor, but asking random people on the internet for ideas'), it just doesn't, and it has been tried many times, and many, including me have spent a lot of time in reasoning whether it could work and why not. So, I will in the future without long elaboration close any of these questions and recommend everyone to do the same. Also, I would ask any user to abstain from posting such questions in the future.
