Retrieve taxon age from Ensembl
Hi everyone,
I need to retrieve the age of the taxons that you can see when you click on the gene tree on Ensembl (e.g. here: http://www.ensembl.org/Danio_rerio/Gene/Compara_Tree?db=core;g=ENSDARG00000062209;r=17:22087864-22117363) in million of years (e.g. Bilateria 937 MYA). Has anyone an idea where and how I can extract these Ensembl data?

You could use TimeTree. It gives you available estimates of divergence times compiled from the literature.
In addition, I frequently use the PDF tree available in Genomicus.
The tree, which includes times of divergence for Ensembl species, can be found here
