download DisGeNET plugin in cytoscape

hello

I want to install the disGeNET PLUGIN in cytoscape of 2.8.1 version and after adding plugin and install it. Cytoscape start download of database for this plugin but failed.could you please any idea for solving this problem

thanks for your reply.do you have any methods for download the database?there is not particular error ,only failed after several minutes.

Did you try to start it via command line from the Cytoscape installation folder as mentioned in the DisGeNET plugin user guide? Because you seem to have another query here about java null pointer exception while downloading the database.. Otherwise it can simply be a network error or memory issues..

The database is really large, so it is better to download it first, and the indicate where it is located locally to the plugin. In any case, we are no longer offering support for Cytoscape 2.x versions. The release for Cytoscape 3.x will occur in the next few weeks.
