Dear Friends,

I am working with histone proteins in my new project. I am trying to determine the genes interacting with HDAC11 gene. ultimately looking for genes various pathways leads to cancer. is there any good webservers or databases I can look for sorting out the genes for this study?

Hi sana,

Please have a look in " string" database. Here you need to chose specific organism to see the interacting gene.

http://string-db.org/

as far i know, it gives the interaction with modelled or existing protein structures only..still i will be able to check again. thanks for the valuable reply..cheers

Yes it will show you only existing protein in DataBase. If you have some background information about metabolic network then you can also try in any network visualization tool such as "Cytoscape"

How about BioGrid..any idea? please share..thanks
