Hi,

I have just started to work on copy number data from TCGA. My question is about the first part of the file name.

For example, I can have:

RARER_p_TCGA_MixedRedos_N_GenomeWideSNP_6_C09_747710.hg19.seg.txt

and

VENUE_p_TCGAb28_SNP_N_GenomeWideSNP_6_E11_568830.hg19.seg.txt

for the same patient. Does anyone know what "RARER" and "VENUE" refers to? And if I have to choose one of them, based on what criteria I can do that?
