yhu, what are the main differences between OmicCircos and circlize.
Changed to 'news' since this is not a tutorial. Also, it's not clear what the point of the post is. It would be nice to provide some context, like what new features or bug fixes come with the update.
I agree -- if everyone made a post like this every time there was a software version update or change things would be a little out of control. What is the point of this post other than informing the public -- isn't that what the tool website should be doing?
OmicCircos has sufficient flexibility to integrate with packages such as biovizBase and GenomicRanges in R/Bioconductor in order to integrate genomics annotation (coordinates of chromosomes, DNA segments and positions), analysis and comparative genomics pipelines. The package will be of interest to the bioinformatics and genomics communities.
