Can I download 16s rDNA sequencing results from a database?

Is there any database can offer 16s rDNA sequencing results?

I'm going to deal wtih 16s rDNA sequence results. As sequencing results will be send to me in a month, I want to learn results analysis with other researchers' results which have been published. So from which database I can download others' 16s rDNA sequnencing results.

Thanks for your help!

There are a lot of 16S sequense data at MG RAST server. For each metagenome sample there is download page (for example http://metagenomics.anl.gov/metagenomics.cgi?page=DownloadMetagenome&metagenome=4489926.3 where 4489926.3 is sample id) where you can get it. And for each project there is a list of id of samples... (http://metagenomics.anl.gov/?page=MetagenomeProject&project=401)

I'd recommend working through the Mothur tutorial (they provide the data as well): http://www.mothur.org/wiki/MiSeq_SOP

The Sequence Read Archive has a ton of data: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sra
