Hello everyone, My name is Gabriel. I am doing my PhD in Spain and I'm looking for a group to spend a period of 3 months in to learn issues related with the study of plant-pathogen interactions using bioinformatics tools. The expenses are all covered.
For 2 years I am working on studies of molecular evolution in filamentous fungi. My background is biology, but I have knowledge of Python and UNIX command line.
My thesis is focused on a Computational approach to understand the evolution of pathogenicity genes in fungi, making it a very broad topic, so I could focus my goals in many directions.
The stay should preferably be in a European country other than Spain.
I hope for suggestions.
