Forum: PhD in bioinformatics or not?
Hi all,
I have a Masters in Bioinformatics and have been working in a research lab for past two years. I have a hard time deciding if I should do a PhD or not. Anyone with experience, please feel free to give advice/suggestions.
- I like bioinformatics- more analysis than programming (though have some experience with programming)
- I like genetics (have handled a big genetic project in my lab)
- I don't see myself writing grants.
Any help is appreciated.
