Your Profile

Master/PhD, preferably with 2 to 5 years experience as a bioinformatician in the field of genomics WES and WGS analysis.

Qualifications and experience

• You have a deep knowledge and proficiency in the development of bioinformatics tools for NGS data analysis
• You have a solid background in genetics and statistics
• You have taste for scientific reproducibility and for the development and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines applied to genetic analyses
• You are proficient in different programming languages (Python, Go, R, Perl, Bash)
• You are highly proficient in spoken and written French
• You are highly proficient in scientific English

Skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of scientific rigour
• Professional autonomy
• Team player
• Good writing skills (mostly in French)

What we offer

• Permanent contract starting October 29 2018
• Work site: CHU Sart-Tilman (Liege, Belgium)
• Working hours: Full time, 38h/week
• Monthly gross salary
  • If Masters: 2987.29 euros (scale 1.80)
  • If PhD: 3698.47 euros (scale 1.91)
  • Salary could be higher according to professional experience and personal situation
