Hello BioStars community,
I would like to introduce a free bioinformatics project that I have been developing and ask for technical feedback. I have a background in biology and work as a software engineer, so this is where I merged those skills.
Geo-to-Insight is a web application that helps users explore and analyze publicly available gene-expression datasets from the NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO).
The purpose of the project is to make exploratory transcriptomic analysis more accessible while respecting the original data sources.
Important notes:
GEO datasets remain the intellectual property of their original investigators. Geo-to-Insight does not generate or own the experimental datasets. The application is intended as a research and educational resource. Results should always be interpreted alongside appropriate statistical and biological validation.
I would appreciate feedback on the methodology, usability, documentation, and any scientific limitations you notice.

Thank you for your time and for everything this community contributes to bioinformatics.

There are so!!!! many tools that already do this. BioJupies for example. GEO itself has a GEO2R functionality to reanalyze data. Why do people always feel like reinventing the wheel.
