We are hiring a Senior Scientist (Translational Genetics & Real-World Evidence) at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals.

This role sits within our Translational Genetics & Data Science team and focuses on building the next generation of human-data-driven drug discovery. The work integrates large-scale human genetics resources such as UK Biobank, FinnGen, All of Us, Genomics England, Genes & Health, and other cohorts with deeply phenotyped real-world data including EHR, labs, and clinical outcomes.

A major goal of this position is to use human genetics as a natural perturbation framework and combine it with longitudinal clinical data to better understand disease trajectories, patient heterogeneity, and clinically meaningful effect sizes in human populations. In the context of siRNA therapeutics, this work helps define which targets to pursue, who to treat, when to intervene, and which endpoints are most likely to translate, creating a direct path from human biology to clinical strategy.
