The Data Science at within Janssen R&D develops innovative solutions using a variety of data sources (-omics, digital health, imaging, real-world data, etc.) across multiple disease areas. We are looking for an outstanding Scientist to research and develop AI technologies for biology and support activities spanning from drug discovery to development, patient stratification, multi-modal endpoints, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conceive, develop, and validate sophisticated AI/ML solutions to high-priority biology problems in drug discovery and development
  2. Participate in cross-functional collaborations with internal scientific and data science teams and external companies
  3. Participate and shape internal and external collaborations, help define the scope of research questions
  4. Extract insights at scale from complex, high-dimensional, high-throughput multi-omics data to improve drug discovery and development (e.g., target/disease identification and quantification, mechanistic insights, patient characterization and stratification, etc.)
  5. Clearly articulate innovative methods (e.g. based on deep learning) and results to diverse audiences and partners to drive decision-making
  6. Contribute to a culture of excellence and high standards, continuous learning and growth, collaboration, and respect
