News: Virtual RAD-seq Analysis Workshop (UConn CBC, Dec. 16 -18)

Hello everyone,

In a little under two weeks, Dr. Noah Reid at The University of Connecticut Computational Biology Core (CBC) will be hosting a three-day Virtual RAD-seq Data Analysis workshop, from December 16th to 18th, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST, via Microsoft Teams. Topics covered include accessing HPC resources and submitting jobs via Slurm, de novo RAD-seq variant calling, reference mapping-based variant calling, filtering and reformatting variant call sets, basic population structure analyses, and more!

Temporary access to high-performance computing resources will be provided for attendees, and no prior HPC or Linux experience is required. All workshop materials, including slides, scripts, data, and recordings, will also be made available.

This three-day workshop is priced at $500 for non-UConn attendees and $400 for UConn-affiliates. Feel free to reach out to us here or at cbcsupport@helpspotmail.com if you have any questions.
