We still have space available in our upcoming Introduction to Microbial Ecology workshop (in-person at University of Connecticut Storrs campus – Dec. 15–18). This hands-on workshop covers the complete microbiome/amplicon sequence analysis workflow, from raw FASTQ files through statistical analyses and publication-quality figure generation. Topics include sequence quality control, OTU clustering, taxonomic identification, and community ecology statistics using mothur and R. This workshop is designed for beginners—no prior command line experience required.
