I planning to benchmark somatic CNV callers using real ground truth tumor CNV set (not from microarray data or so on..) I looked through articles but happen to not find the appropriate data to use.... So, I am reaching out to seek help from experts in the field as I might be missing the data due to my lack of experience. If there isn't an existing real ground truth CNV set, I am considering creating one myself. However, I am unsure about the difficulty and feasibility of this task.

Could anyone provide advice or share methods on how to create a real ground truth CNV set? Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
