I have two GWAS summary statistics for a trait that was evaluated differently in each study: one was evaluated as a case/control trait [Ex. diagnosis by a medical staff] and in another was measured as a quantitative trait [Ex. concentration of a blood marker for the trait]. Can these summary statistics be used together for a meta-analysis? And if so, I appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to go about it?
