How to identify regions of similarity/identity that are exclusive for a group within a bigger alingment
Hi,
I have a list of protein sequences. When I make a phylogeny, it separate them between two groups. I want to know the region of these protein that are different between these two groups, the region that is responsible for grouping them that way.
Is there a tool that allow me to see this or do I have to align it and manually search for these regions?
Thank you

Maybe Gibbs sampling could help? https://www.cs.cmu.edu/~ckingsf/bioinfo-lectures/gibbs.pdf
Thank you. I think this is the math that I need. Is there a online tool that do this type of analysis?
