Bioinformatics tool to validate the functional annotation
I'm working on the functional annotation of fungi. For the functional annotation, the tool used is funannotate. I'm looking for a tool that allows me to check (validate) that the functional annotation has been done correctly. Unfortunately, I haven't found one. I've seen that the curation can be done manually after the annotation, I'd like to know if there is a tool that allows me to check the functional annotation of fungi.

"validation" of a prediction can only be done by experiments. You can't use a different tool to validate output of first one. Both are still going to be predictions until proven by an experiment.
