Hey everybody

I have an RNA-seq dataset that I used to identify DEGs.

I want to explore the distribution of DEGs related to gene length. For example, I would like to see if the identified DEGs have a skewed distribution towards smaller or longer genes.

What approach would you suggest?

Thanks in advance!

Check the goseq package (Bioconductor) which implements computation of a gene length bias vector and associated plot. Page 8 of the manual https://bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/vignettes/goseq/inst/doc/goseq.pdf
