Given whole-blood RNAseq data, is prediction still needed to perform TWAS?
Most TWAS use genetically predicted gene expression data. If I have whole-blood RNAseq data, do I still need to perform prediction? If yes then what exactly is to be predicted, is it the gene expression in other tissues?
