gProfiler: Customising the gostplot

Hi all.

I'm wondering if it's possible to customise the gostplot produced by gProfiler to only include GO:MF, GO:CC, GO:BP and KEGG. I'm not interested in the others like REAC, TF or CORUM. The manual doesn't seem to provide an option to exclude whole categories.

Hi,

It depends if you're using the the online interface (https://biit.cs.ut.ee/gprofiler/gost) or the API. In any case, a simple workaround is just select the databases that you're interested in (if you're using the online interface, under the field Data sources): GO:MF, GO:CC, GO:BP and KEGG. Actually, if you're only interested on these, I think you even should only select this to start with, since you're more likely to get more hits, since the multiple testing correction will be apply across less terms/pathways.
