Disease-specific SNPs. Any databases?
Hi all!
Is there a database listing disease-wise SNPs?

A first logical choice would be ClinVar, which, although not strictly related to 'disease' (how do we truly define what is and is not a disease?), does list genetic variants that are known to be associated with phenotypes, whether they be detrimental to the organism housing the variant or not. Please see: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/clinvar/
Another is:
- NHGRI GWAS Catalog: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/
Kind regards,
Kevin
