Bash Script - taking too long to execute homology analyze - Test

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this kind of post is allowed, but if not, let me know.

I'm trying to run a script for a genome-versus-genome analysis using a homology tool - I know there are several options for performing this task, including other alignment tools. The issue is that it's taking a long time, days/weeks more specifically. I've already tried optimizing the script to run fewer stages as well as running smalls queries - no success.

I believe that the problem is in computer's hardware which is very old, low RAM...

If there is any kind soul (with a good hardware) in this community, could you run my script and send me the output informing the running time, please?

I have described all the necessary information in the PDF file below:

bash python homology conda env
