Difference in VCF versions

I want to know what's the biggest difference or major differences in VCF 4.1 and 4.2 I have to make manual VCF for both versions but other than the header info where version is given I can't find any difference in metadata. Please provide your valuable inputs . All members of this amazing community

Yes I read this and interestingly they both use same VCF file just changed the version info from 4.1 to 4.2 rest all meta data and data is the same infact both the pdf are same word by word no difference at all

I had someone tell me one could compare the manuals in latex format to find differences. VCF manual v4.3 had a changelog but 4.2 did not. The answer from Iakov over at Bioinfo SE is as comprehensive as it gets, I guess.

EDIT: The "someone telling me" is in the same linked answer (vague memories work in a funny way, sorry)
