IGH on Ensembl
For NCBI, searching on "IGH" with Entrez returns results including NG_001019, which is about 1.29 Mbp of chr 14. Nonetheless, searching with ensembl rest api for IGH (http://rest.ensembl.org/lookup/symbol/homo_sapiens/IGH) there is no record. What should be the gene symbol to search for IGH sequence on Ensembl? Thank you!

Immunoglobulins are annotated differently in NCBI compared to Ensembl. While NCBI annotate one large IGH locus containing all the different IGH pieces, Ensembl annotate each fragment as one gene
