People on this forum usually get annoyed by such questions as this forum is more into answering technical questions related to Bioinformatics. I would advise you to have a Masters or PhD from some good US university. It should help you in your career.

I'd suggest you get into contact with 'student/study counsellor', student board/representatives, alumni, professors, and see university rankings etc. at different universities to get more information about bioinformatics study programmes.
