Looking For A Vcf File Produced By The Varscan Tool
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have a VarScan .vcf example file they can send me? If not, would anyone know where I can find one? I have tried their website, but no luck so far. I would like to test its compatibility on our genome uploader. My email is: wendy@cyphergenomics.com

Thank you for your request, which I also received by e-mail. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to get a sample VCF file together yet. Since you're a commercial entity that hasn't licensed VarScan, I have to support the non-commercial users first.
However, I can tell you that VarScan VCF output should meet VCF2.1 specification; as long as your uploader does, there should be no issues.
