Hello all, i have installed mysql on my server using sudo yum install mysql-server service mysqld start on which my system replies Setting up Install Process Package mysql-server-5.0.77-4.el5_6.6.x86_64 already installed and latest version Nothing to do then i use the command to set the password sudo /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation here it gives NOTE: RUNNING ALL PARTS OF THIS SCRIPT IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL MySQL SERVERS IN PRODUCTION USE!
