Can I Email The Gbk File To The Genome Submission Pipeline Of Ncbi Or Does It Have To Be The .Sqn File?

HI, does anyone know whether i can email the gbk file to the submission pipeline of ncbi or does it have to be the .sqn file?

There isn't really a clear statement of which should it be on any of the ncbi manuals.

Hi Raygozak,

it has to be a .sqn file and afaik you need to submit it with the webinterface: https://submit.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/

You can generate the gbk and the sqn file with tbl2asn from the ncbi-table file if you like.
