How To Get Sequence Between Two Genes On Chromosome 1 Of The Rat Genome

hi friends

I want to obtain the sequence in between two genes to identify the transcription factor binding sites on rat chromosome 1.,

I have cheked the website like rat genome database, ucsc to get the sequence in chromoseome 1 i.e in between my two genes of interest., can u please help me in this regard.,

Use UCSC genome browser to select the coordinates or the region between 2 genes. It should be sth like chr1:12345-12456. Then you can go to http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTables?hgsid=326955505 and select Rat then Mapping and sequencing tracks and then paste the above coordinates in the region section. If you do it correctly you should be able to get the fasta sequences.
