How To Get Reference Sequence From Ucsc Of A Certain Position Of Chromosome?

Hello,

I would like to cut certain part of human Y chromosome from reference sequence from UCSC browser.

e.g. I would like to cut from physical position 14000000-15000000. what would be the best and easiest way to do it?

Thanks

chromosome genomic position

For future reference: it helps to be precise. "Cut" could mean "extract only that region" or "delete that region".

Use the Table Browser , and select

Region -> Position -> your position of interest
Output format -> Sequence

And then "get output" and after a few more options you get the sequence you want.
