Gene Interactions With Substances

Hi all, I am hoping this is the right place to post this question.

I have to come up with a list of natural substances such as foods or chemical agents which are known to interact with gene and influence gene expression. While the such substances may not directly interact the protein contains in such substances may influence gene expression.

I wanted to know if there is any database / website that may have such information.

This question is a bit too open, in some systems most of them will perturb expression indirectly at some dose. Natural substances is also vague

The STITCH resource combines data about gene-gene and small molecule-gene interactions, and may be useful for you.

It has a good synonym list, and you can upload lists of small molecules/genes, and look at predicted interactions amongst them.

ConnectivityMap, ChEMBL, PubChem are the best source I think. But you have to convert proteins to genes.
