Www.Bribes.Org Seems To Be Offline (Or Gone)

Hi guys,

I am trying to add several packages in active state perl that depend on the bribes repository. For some reason the repository has been offline for at least 5 days now. Does anyone know where it migrated to or what happened to it?

I used both the cpan and the ppm method to install staden and everytime it tries to contact bribes it gives the following error:

Downloading www.Bribes.org packlist...failed 500 Can't connect to www.Bribes.org:80 (10060)

I have a windows 7 machine and running active state perl.

I really would appreciate your help/ suggestions with this!

Not sure what to tell you. This has been an active discussion on the PerlMonks message board for the last few days (see here and here). Is this directly pertinent to a bioinformatics question?
