Is There Any Enzyme To Cut A Nicked Dna Site (Single Strand Break) To Generate Double Strand Break?
I need an enzyme to cut a nicked DNA site (single strand break) to generate double strand break, so that I can add adaptor to the DNA and make NGS library to map nicked DNA locations. Any ideas? Thanks!

Just googled "single strand specific restriction endonuclease" and stumbled upon this -PMC2887958. So there are definitely enzymes, just do a better literature search.
Have to close this one, since it's a molecular biology question, nothing to do with bioinformatics.
