Haseeb - I suspect you are much more likely to get a helpful answer if you ask a more specific question. Tell people what your strengths/interests are and a field you want to explore and you might well get some suggestions

Are you looking for an externship? Or just for projects you could do on your own?

We are offering a number of projects for internships [?]here[?]. These are also available for students that do not do Biohealth Computing.

If you are looking for a coding project you should also look at the Google Summer of Code. There are quite a few bioinformatics projects there. Including some related to "WikiPathways, PathVisio, Cytoscape" which are presented as a group. These you could do from home. Most larger projects have developers mailing lists and a "how to start" page. Ours is [?]here[?].

For other projects many questions on Biostar offer clues about things that still need to be done, and the answers often point you to ideas that could help to get started.
