Single And Multiple Recombination Breakpoint

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest me what is the meaning of a single and multiple recombination breakpoint. Any description with a figure will be helpful.

Thanks, Reetu

recombination

Recombination is how DNA molecules break apart and get back together again. It's how new genetic information is made. There may well be a Wikipedia page (with figures) on recombination. Some textbooks on genetics probably cover this as well. Breakpoints are undoubtedly mentioned too.
