Hello everybody,
I am trying to perform a meta-analysis to compare 11 SNPs belong to 11 genes between two populations; Caucasian and Chinese. I am not sure if I have to run a meta-analysis individually, so that at the end i will have 22 forest plot (11 for each population), on which my conclusion will be based later on. Or, the other thing in my mind that I am not sure is possible, if I should get the pooled ORs for all SNPs and then plot them all in one forest plot, so that i would have 2 representative squares for each SNP in my forest plot; one for Caucasian and one for Chinese. My forest plot in this case will tell only the summary of my findings which is pooled OR in this case.
Could any one possibly please clarify it a bit for me, which way is more logical and applicable?
