Association Mapping: Can Mlm Find More Association Than Glm?

In my GWAS study using a set of 6000 SNPs and 220 accessions for 28 quantitative traits. For 27 traits, I am getting more associations in GLM method but in one of the traits, MLM identified more association than GLM? What might be the conclusion for this discrepancy? Thanks,
