How Were Snps On The Affy Cytoscan Hd Chosen?

Hi,

Does anyone know how the SNPs on the Affy Cytoscan HD array were chosen. Apparently, there are 750k "gene-centric" SNPs on the array, but I haven't been able to find more information than that. I'm specifically interested in the SNPs, and not the non-polymorphic CNV probes.

maybe find the sequence information from the annotation file? I mean the flanking region sequence around SNP site.
