how is it related to bioinformatics ?
As Pierre states this is not a bioinformatics question and will be closed.
Bioinformatics tools are part of the pipeline that generates genetic testing resutls and that get the CLIA stamp or approval. I think it IS relevant. By using wrong methods you produce wrong data. Using correct pipeline is very important.
here is my thinking, CLIA stand for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments and sets standards and issues certificates for clinical laboratory testing. Now of course any system that makes use of computation and could involve biology in some manner could be called bioinformatics. But in practical terms bioinformatics is the science of analysis and not the science of rules and regulation that limit the way the information may be disseminated.
