Where Does Each Aars Classes Connect With The Trna?

Hello all,

I'm trying to understand to which "side" does the Aminoacyl tRNA synthetase connects to on the tRNA, dependent on it's class.

The wiki article states that:

  • Class I [...] aminoacylates at the 2'-OH of an adenosine nucleotide.
  • Class II [...] aminoacylates at the 3'-OH of the same adenosine.

Looking at the tRNA article, I can't seem to figure out where each of these two locations are (which letter number it refers to)
