What does metaFlye mean by "corrected reads"?

metaFlye: https://github.com/fenderglass/Flye/blob/flye/docs/USAGE.md has two parameters for ONT data, --nano-raw path and --nano-corr path. Does anyone know what kind of corrections are needed to make the reads count as corrected?

assembly sequence

Raw Nanopore reads have a high error rate - I believe it is currently at 10-15%, but someone more knowledgeable may correct me. Corrected reads are reads with a "low" error rate, of less than 3%. I think the correction method doesn't matter, as long as the error rate is lower than 3%.
