Is it possible to use DAVID enrichment with single ranked list of genes?

Hey, I know that it is possible to use DAVID enrichment with a background and target lists. Is it possible to use it on a single ranked list, and see which functions are enriched at top of the list? thank you!

david enrichment

I didn't see it either, but I wasn't sure if it doesn't have that function or if I was missing it. Thank you!

Did you check the DAVID documentation and FAQ? - I do not recall seeing anywhere that it supports a ranked list of genes.

For a ranked list of genes, I would instead use topGO, clusterProfiler, KEGGprofile, and / or fGSEA. Note that clusterProfiler actually has a DAVID function.

Try GeneSCF, Gene Set Clustering based on Functional annotation (GeneSCF)
