Hello, I have a list of proteins and I need analyze: class protein, cell component, function and biological process. For that there is different sources, but I need know what of them is better and, most important, why. I need to choose between: GO and String (for cell component, function, and biological process) and Panther and GO (for class protein). Go and String give information about cell component, function, and biological process but results they give are different. Also, It is supposed that GO use “Panther protein class” for analyze class protein but both sources reported different results, I do not understand why.
